“I REALLY want a dog, but I am allergic to them! What should I do?”

“Don’t worry tweens!. I myself am allergic to most dogs and so are a couple of my family members and I waited for a long time to get a dog. Guess what, girls? Now I have one! He’s so cute and fun and my family named him Mr. Chips after a movie character! Remember it’s fun to be creative with your dog’s name! Here is what you should do when you or even your family is allergic to dogs but you still want one so much: find a hypoallergenic dog or puppy that fits your family’s wishes so that you make this doggy love your family and household!

Here are some awesome large hypoallergenic dogs and their personalities:

Airedale Terriers – sometimes known as the “King of Terriers” They are highly intelligent, bold, and very loyal! 

 Standard Poodle – known for their “human-like    personalities”. They are highly intelligent, affectionate, and athletic. 

Giant Schnauzer – Bold, intelligent, and loyal working dogs! 

Bouvier des Flandres – Fearless, loyal, and a steady working dog!

And here are some awesome smaller hypoallergenic dogs and their personalities:

1. Yorkshire Terrier – I myself have one of these dogs, mine is only 5 pounds. Yorkies are bold, energetic, and highly affectionate!

2. Mini/toy Poodle – intelligent, affectionate, and lively companions.

3. Mini Schauzer – smart, spirited, and affectionate!
4. Mini Benedoodle – Although they are not as hypoallergenic as the other dogs listed they are somewhat hypoallergenic. They are highly affectionate, intelligent, and adaptable companion dogs! They are a mix of a Bernes Mountain Dog and a Poodle. 

5. Cockapoo – They are a mix of a Cocker Spaniel and a poodle. They are affectionate, goofy, and have highly social personalities! 

6. Havenese – They are highly affectionate, playful, and are known as “velcro dogs” because of how they follow and “glue” themselves to their owners. My grandmother has a Havanese and he is very sweet and well-trained.
